Under the Flight Path is a sound document about life near the airport, initially recorded in 1978 for the Soundwalking program on Vancouver Co-operative Radio. The piece leads the listener into Richmond, a suburb of Vancouver, which is located on a flight path and significantly impacted by aeroplane traffic. Through field recordings and conversations with the inhabitants, we get to know how this sonic pollution affects the life of the community.
