Lake Urmia once was the largest lake in the Middle East. But then humanity happened, resulting in a massive drought. Now, there’s only five percent left of the original lake. Filmmaker Daniel Asadi Faezi used to swim there, and returned there to make a cinematic essay about the lake’s and his family’s present and past.
