Deborah Stratman
Deborah Stratman is an American experimental filmmaker and artist, who investigates issues of power, control and belief, exploring how places, ideas, and society are intertwined. She works extensively on 16mm film, often employing the medium to speculate on alternative forms of relations between humans, their immediate environments and non-human actors. Stratman’s films and artworks have been exhibited internationally, at Sundance Film Festival, Filmfestival Viennale, Berlinale and the Flaherty Seminar.
