Face Home View traverses the organic and the urban alike as the camera performs a slow 360° take from inside of a vacated cinema in Rotterdam. By zooming in and out, forms become arbitrary, at once familiar and estranged. The work listens to the echoes of passing time, revealing traces of life, sound, and movement: fleeting moments captured by the silent walls of the location portrayed on 16mm film.
