Oleksiy Radynski
Oleksiy Radynski is a filmmaker and writer based in Kyiv. His films experiment with documentary forms and practices of political cinema. He is currently focused on investigating the toxic legacies of settler colonialism in north-east Eurasia, specifically the rise of Russian fossil fascism and its multiple imperial wars, including the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine. He collaborates with The Reckoning Project, an interdisciplinary group which works in media and forensics, documenting and prosecuting Russian war crimes in Ukraine. His films have been screened at SAVVY Contemporary, Docudays, Sheffield Doc Fest and DOK Leipzig; his texts have been published in e-flux journal and Krytyka Polityczna.
