Vasyl (Tkachenko) Lyakh
Vasyl (Tkachenko) Lyakh is a video artist, painter and musician from Mariupol, who is currently based in Kyiv. In his work he explores the themes of cultural memory which goes beyond official narratives, and the specific multicultural heritage of east Ukraine. He is a member of Freefilmers, a cinemovement and humanitarian aid cooperative. He is also part of the band ‘Serviz Propav’ together with Oksana Kazmina.
